As a pet pawrent, nothing is more terrifying than the moment your pet is in crisis and you don’t know what to do. Whether it’s choking, collapsing, bleeding, or seizing, these moments can feel like everything is spinning. That’s exactly why I’m so passionate about helping pawrents prepare before anything ever happens.
Emergency readiness is one of the most overlooked parts of pet care. Yet it’s one of the most important. That’s why I teach Pet CPR and First Aid classes. These are designed for everyday pawrents, not just professionals. I walk you through real-life situations, hands-on skills, and give you a clear plan to follow when the unexpected hits. You’ll learn how to check vital signs, what to do for choking, how to bandage wounds, and how to perform CPR with confidence.
We also talk about prevention. Preparation doesn’t begin in the moment of crisis. It starts with learning your pet’s normal behaviors, knowing where your nearest emergency vet is, and having a basic kit ready. I guide pawrents through what to include in their kits and how to actually use those items.
One thing I always remind people is this. In a high-stress situation, you don’t perform better just by hoping. You fall back on your training. That’s why learning these skills before you need them is so valuable.
If you’ve ever felt helpless when your pet needed you, that doesn’t have to be your story next time. I’m here to help you feel ready, calm, and capable. Your pet deserves that, and so do you.
