Copy Wrights began in 1990 with the purchase of a printing company in Tacoma, WA. Growth was rapid, and additions of new equipment have been steady. Investments in digital printing, offset printing technology like digital plate making, bindery improvements, and bulk mailing equipment continue to help us serve our customers better.

The name Copy Wrights has been more confusing than expected. There is no one named Wright in the business. Copy Right(s) and Copy Rite(s) are common misspellings. We are not copywriters, nor do we offer copyright services. To copy is to reproduce documents that originated with the invention of paper and have been carried forward to electronic methods today. Wrights, like shipwrights and millwrights, are craft masters in their chosen fields. Our chosen field is modern-day copying, printing, and related services—Copy Wrights. OK, it is too subtle. Actually, we don’t care what you call us as long as you call us.

We have been recycling paper, boxes, and packaging before it became popular. Our inks are biodegradable. We have glass, plastic, and metal recycling bins. As we upgrade, older computers and equipment are sold, donated, or recycled so they do not go to a landfill. We have eco-friendly, zero-emission, electric delivery vehicles.

We also have a wide selection of recycled papers for your projects.
