Sherri, founder of SMJ Bookkeeping, grew up in a family of successful entrepreneurs, with her father's lumberyards and her mother's bookkeeping setting the stage for her future. Despite starting in graphic design after high school, Sherri discovered her natural aptitude for bookkeeping over a decade in the field.

After obtaining an education degree and financing it through restaurant bookkeeping, Sherri pivoted to establish her own bookkeeping business—a decision that defined her professional journey.
