About

Westside Neighbors Network Center

Westside Neighbors Network Shelter is a privately owned and volunteer-operated cold-weather shelter hosted in the American Legion Hall in West Seattle. The shelter is open to any adult in need of shelter, regardless of gender or veteran status.

The Warm Up Center operates every day. From November through mid-March, Cold Weather Shelter nights will be added as necessary.

Morning: The Warm Up Center is open at the American Legion Hall from 7:30 am to 11 am every day, with breakfast provided from 8:00 to 9:00 am.

Evening: When the overnight temperature forecast is below 40 degrees, the American Legion Hall opens again at 5 pm for Cold Weather Shelter. Dinner is served between 6:30 and 7:30 pm, and cots and blankets are available for 25 people overnight.

The shelter is open 24 hours when King County declares a Winter Storm Emergency.
